The National Trust Northern Ireland commissioned Circle to create two themed visitor exhibitions at two of its properties – Springhill ‘The Titanic Story’ and The Argory ‘The Birkenhead Story’. Both exhibitions were required to inspire and encourage visitors to visit the properties and engage them on a visual, educational discovery which was enjoyable for all ages. Circle worked closely with the National Trust project team to source and deliver a vast array of signage and marketing materials such as giftware to include writing sets/pencils/childrens branded hats, promotional items, exhibition display boards and information panels, branded props, external signage, marquee backdrops, roll up banner stands, wall stencils, admission tickets, childrens activity sheets, orientation/trail leaflets, kids play hub, flag material, window graphics, branded costume backdrop, directional signage, bespoke TV panel and stickers for childrens activities as well as media invites for the launch. For the Springhill and The Argory visitor exhibitions, we developed a strong evolution of the existing National Trust brand through the consistent use of a number of colours from the National Trust colour palette. Using the National Trust corporate typefaces, we produced a stand alone identity for each of the exhibitions that was distinctive but also achieved a visual consistency between both exhibitions. This was achieved through the structure of the existing National Trust identity and the new typography we created. This project was completed in a very quick turnaround of eight weeks from concept to installation and launch of the exhibitions. In addition, we offered excellent value for the charity by sourcing the best prices possible for the range of items provided and were commended on our work.
